Winifred H. Baum, a retired homemaker went to be with her Lord on Friday, July 16, 2004 at Saint Simeon's in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 86.
Mrs. Baum was born November 13, 1917 in Arrol, Missouri to Everett Haley and Ollie Lucille Moore Haley. She graduated from the of College of Emporia with a degree in Nursing. She married Dr. Arnold H. Baum and lived in Dodge City, Kansas for 42 years before moving to Edmond, Oklahoma. She was a member of First Christian Church in Edmond. During Mrs. Baum's last few years she resided at Oklahoma Christian Home before moving to Saint Simeon's earlier this year.
Mrs. Baum was preceded in death by her parents: Everett and Lucille Haley and her husband, Dr. Arnold H. Baum who passed away in 1984.
She is survived by her sister Gail Webster and her husband, Leo, of Edmond, Oklahoma; her brother Dr. Ronald Haley and his wife, Anne, of Lombard, Illinois.
Mrs. Baum is survived by 1 daughter: Janice Henderson, Praire Village, Kansas; 4 sons: Arthur Baum and his wife, Carmen, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Robert Baum and his wife, Lisa, Great Bend, Kansas; Brent Baum and his wife, Donna, Barrington, Illinois; and Arnold Baum and his wife, Barbara, Overland Park, Kansas.
Surviving grandchildren are: David Henderson, Susan Henderson, Matthew Baum, Kevin Baum, Robert D. Baum, Jessica Baum, Jacob Baum, Joshua Baum, Brandon Baum, Taylor Marie Baum and Maxwell Baum.
Viewing will take place at Matthews Funeral Home, 601 S. Kelly, Edmond, Oklahoma on Monday, July 19, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Mathews Funeral Home Chapel 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2004.
