William Stuart Dellis

October 13, 1929 — July 16, 2004

William Stuart Dellis, 74, went to be with his Lord on Friday, July 16, 2004 at a local hospital. Mr. Dellis was born October 13, 1929 to Herbert A. Dellis and Nola M. Evans Dellis in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Dellis graduated from Daniel Webster High School and in 1947 he married the love of his life, Mary Ethel Greathouse.
In Mr. Dellis' younger years he was a founding member of the Circle €œC€ Roundup Club and roped calves. He owned several dump trucks and helped build new roads around Keystone Lake and Eufaula. During his 35 years in the trucking industry he drove trucks for various Tulsa and Dallas, Texas trucking companies. For the last 10 years he found great enjoyment working as a dispatcher for his son's wrecker company, D & D Towing in Glenpool.
Mr. Dellis liked to duck hunt in his spare time. He will be remembered most for his quick witted sense of humor and his one-liners that have left many memories to his dear friends and family members.
Mr. Dellis was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Nola Dellis and his brother, Dutch Dellis. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ethel Dellis of Glenpool; 1 son: Monty Dellis of Glenpool; 4 daughters: Teri Terry of Bixby, Viki Crabtree, Tami Northrup of Coweta and Traci Jenkins of Newbury, Ohio. Mr. Dellis has 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren
