William Floyd Purtee Jr.

William Floyd Purtee, Jr. age 66 went to be with his Lord in Heaven on Saturday, October 22, 2005. He will be remembered as being a devoted husband, the most wonderful father on earth and adored Grandpa by his grandchildren.
Mr. Purtee was born November 11, 1938 in South Bend, Indiana to William F. Purtee, Sr. and Avanell Demerly Purtee. He attended schools in Indiana and met his sweetheart and love of his life, Jane. William and Jane were united in marriage June 1, 1957 in South Bend, Indiana.
Mr. Purtee moved to the Tulsa area twenty-five years ago and worked as a Director of Major Accounts for JD Young Company where he had many loving friends and devoted customers.
Mr. Purtee's hobbies were boating and fishing. He was the proud €œgrandpa€ of ten grandchildren and playing with them brought him great pleasure and memories.
He is survived by his loving wife: Jane Purtee, his children: Del Purtee, Lorean Downard, Dawn Purtee; his brother: Bob (Mary) Purtee, Arizona; sisters: Patsy (Chuck) Salusky, Texas; Sue (Larry) White, Indiana; grandchildren: Aubrey Downard, Corey Downard, Kyle Downard, Nicole Ritterhoff, Amanda Ritterhoff, Derek Purtee, Denver Purtee, Gavin Purtee, Garet Purtee, Zackary Downard. Mr. Purtee is also survived by three loving sister in-laws: Janice (Hank) Bonne, Paula (Floyd) Porter, Jeanine (Steve) Hickman from Indiana.

A Memorial Mass will take place 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2005 at Saint Bernard's Catholic Church, 4001 E. 101st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74137. Reverend Fernandez will officiate.
Honorary Pallbearers: Aubrey Downard, Corey Downard, Kyle Downard, Nicole Ritterhoff, Amanda Ritterhoff, Derek Purtee, Denver Purtee, Gavin Purtee, Garet Purtee and Zackary Downard.
