In Loving Memory of William (Bill) Morgan Baker III

William (Bill) Morgan Baker III, 79, of Bixby, Oklahoma peacefully departed from this life on January 12th, 2024, surrounded by his beloved family.

Bill was born on June 9th, 1944, in Gulfport, MS, to the loving parents William Morgan Baker, Jr., and Francis Neely Baker of Nashville, TN. He grew up in Nashville, graduating from Hillsboro High School and later earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Tulsa University.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Anka, his children and their spouses: son William Baker IV (Bill) (Kristin), and daughter Autumn McClure (Bruce). Bill leaves a lasting legacy through his grandchildren: Anna (Baker), Graham (Baker), Kendall (Baker), Taylor (McClure), Evan (McClure), Bella (McClure), and Allie (McClure). He is also survived by his sister, Judy Golden, her sons Todd Golden, Ben Golden, Luke Golden, along with their families, and numerous cousins and their families.

Bill dedicated 45 years of his career to Ford Glass Company, forging lifelong friendships in Nashville and Tulsa. Passionate about soccer, he coached his son and daughter in youth soccer for many years, extending his commitment even after their playing days. Beyond sports, Bill found joy in the activities of his children and grandchildren. His unwavering priorities in life were God and Family. Despite many years in Oklahoma, Bill's heart always remained loyal to his beloved Tennessee Vols.

In honoring Bill's memory, let us remember the love, dedication, and joy he brought to the lives of those around him.

A private interment will be held at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery.
