Virginia Ellen Cantrell, 73, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on March 2, 2024 at in Tulsa. She was born on June 25, 1950 in Carrollton, Missouri. Virginia was known as Ginger to her friends and family members.
She was the daughter of Rod and Mattie Murrain, and was a 1968 graduate of Carrollton High School, in Carrollton, Missouri.
Virginia retired in 2005 after a thirty-five-year career as a service representative for AT&T. She began her career in Chillicothe, Missouri, and later transferred to Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, and her former husband, John C. Cantrell. She is survived by her four siblings: Joseph Murrain of Liberty, Missouri; James Murrain of Parkville, Missouri; Jon Murrain of Dallas, Texas; Maggie Bowlin Ramsey of The Colony, Texas; her half-sister Sally Barrett of Davenport, Iowa; her son Forrest Henley; his wife Miranda and their four children as well as and numerous nieces and nephews.
