In loving memory of Vernon Lee Hamilton Aka V-Dawg

June 28, 1970 to June 7, 2024

Vernon was called home to The Lord on June 7, 2024. He fought a good fight. Vernon was born on June 28, 1970 in Forrest City, Arkansas to Joe Henry Hamilton and Corrine Hamilton (Nichols).

He worked at Forrest City Grocery for 4 years and later moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Vernon loved playing dominoes, Spades, going fishing, drinking his E&J and loved riding his bike to visit his little sister Lenise and niece London. He also enjoyed listening to old blues and Chris Brown. Vernon could turn your bad day into a good day with his many jokes. Everybody loved V-Dawg.

Vernon leaves behind two brothers; Earl Hamilton and Joe Hamilton, sister Lenise Hamilton, daughter Khadjah Hamilton and three grandchildren. He was also blessed with a lot of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Vernon is preceded in death by his mom Corrine Nichols, Father Joe Henry Hamilton and his sister Denise Hamilton.

- "Don't cry for me now I have died, I'm still on your side, my body is gone but my soul is here, please don't shed another tear, I'm still here, I'm all around, only my body lies in the ground."

From little sister Lenise - "I'm going to miss you my brother, my roll dawg. You and Denise left me and now I"m alone. I love y'all so much and I'm going to miss you. I will forever keep your name alive V-DAWG."

Honorary flower girls are: Khadijah Hamilton, Alexis Hamilton, Aikira Hamilton, Keanna Hamilton, Krystal Tucker, Brittney Hamilton and Destiny Hamilton.
