Timothy Dean Patterson, born on December 7, 1964, in Three Rivers, Michigan, passed away on May 19, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tim was the beloved husband of Pamela Patterson, with whom he shared 37 wonderful years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Trent and Daughter in Law, Stormi Patterson and Paige Patterson and Son in law Damien. Tim's legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Lane, Madisyn, Tatum, and Bayler.
Tim is survived by his wife and children, father, Terryl Patterson, Sr., his brother, Terryl Patterson, Jr, and Brother in Law Mike Davis. He leaves behind a large, loving family of uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Ann Patterson, grandparents Theodore and Muriel Patterson, Ralph and Carmelita Dean, Father in Law Kirby Hogue, Mother in Law Betty Holland, and Sister in Law Cindy Davis.
Known for his love of the casino and all things Detroit, Tim was a passionate sports enthusiast specifically rooting for the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Pistons, and Detroit Red Wings. His charismatic personality and ability to strike up a conversation with anyone made him a beloved figure in every social circle he joined. Tim had a special fondness for trips to Costco and never missed any of his children’s sports activities, always there to cheer them on with pride and enthusiasm.
Tim attended East Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte North Carolina and Union High School in Tulsa Oklahoma. He excelled athletically in Football Basketball and especially Baseball. Moving to Union High School his senior year, he earned the nickname “Bigtime” for the amount of homeruns he hit in his first practice. It was during this time he met his wife, Pam, at Lafortune Park. In his young adult years he found a love for the game of golf, a sport he played with dedication. He had a close bond with his brother, with whom he spent countless joyful moments and memories. Known for his sarcasm and stubbornness, Tim’s softer side shone brightly in the presence of his grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.
Timothy Dean Patterson will be remembered for his vibrant personality, his unwavering love for his family, and the countless memories he created with those he loved. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
