Timothy Mayer

February 10, 1961 — April 12, 2024

Timothy Robert Mayer, born on February 10, 1961 in Sharon, PA passed away peacefully on April 12th, 2024 at the age of 63 surrounded by the love of his friends and family.

Tim called Broken Arrow, OK home for many years. He worked in the commercial construction industry, managing the development of several major buildings in Tulsa and surrounding areas. With his expertise in construction, Tim personally oversaw the construction of his home, where he resided for 20+ years, ensuring robust construction and longevity. His home stands today as a testament to his skill and craft.

He is survived by his father, Vendel Mayer, siblings Bert (Ann) Mayer, Pat (Jack) Jackson, Tom (Kay) Mayer, and Pam Mayer Phelps. Children Joshua (Justin) Mayer and Justin (Jessica) Mayer, in addition to grandchildren Logan and Lincoln Mayer. Tim's family, relatives and loved ones extend far beyond this list. He is preceded in death by his mother Judith Leggatt.

Tim was a man of many talents and passions. An avid golfer, he found joy on the greens, sharing countless rounds with friends and colleagues. His knack for building and fixing things was unmatched. Whether crafting furniture or tinkering under the hood of a car, he enjoyed spending time in his workshop.

Yet, above all, he was a devoted father. His love and guidance shaped the lives of his sons. The love and examples shared by him will continue to have effects for generations after his passing.

Tim will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his kindness, humor, and unwavering love.

A celebration of life will be held privately on May 4, 2024, with close friends and family who will gather to honor his memory, share stories, and find solace in each other's company. We ask those not in attendance to take a moment to reflect on their time with Tim.

Rest in peace knowing that you are loved beyond measure. Until we meet again, may your spirit live on in those left behind as your memory serves as comfort in sadness.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Saint Francis Hospice in memory of Tim.
