Thomas Pate

June 9, 1945 — August 11, 2024

As a proud veteran, Tom Pate served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. After his military service, he dedicated his life to various roles, including Deputy Sheriff and heavy equipment operator, becoming a reservoir of wisdom and practical knowledge. These experiences highlight the remarkable character of the man he was.

Tom and his wife, Sherri, built their home in the serene countryside of Oklahoma, where he found joy in watching deer from their backyard and savoring the peace of rural life. An avid outdoorsman, Tom had many passions, but NASCAR stood out as his ultimate favorite. During races, his daughter loved to playfully remind him about those left turns, much to his amusement.

Though a man of few words, when Tom spoke, his advice and wisdom were always precisely what was needed. His extensive knowledge of cars, tools, and life's everyday challenges often surpassed anything Google could provide. He was a man of true moral character, always ready to give what he could. Tom was a devoted husband who ensured his family was always cared for. The bond he shared with his daughter was unbreakable, with her being the ultimate "Daddy's girl," wrapped around his finger until the very end.

Tom will be dearly missed and forever cherished. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 23 years, Sherri Pate, and his daughter, Jenn Pate.

May he rest in peace, free from pain, and returned to the Kingdom to be made whole once more.
