Thelma Kathryn Moore

Kathryn Moore, 90, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2026.

Kathryn was born on April 14, 1936, in Flat River, Missouri, to Rolla and Bessie (Woodcock) Huff. She graduated from Flat River High School with the Class of 1954. On March 10, 1954, she married the love of her life, Jack Moore. Together, they shared a wonderful life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.

Kathryn worked as a sales clerk for Sears for more than thirty years before later working as a caregiver. She enjoyed bowling and proudly served as District President of the VFW Women's Auxiliary.

Above all, Kathryn treasured her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Rolla and Bessie Huff; her two sons, Jeff and Scooter; her sister, Phyllis; and her son-in-law, Charles Holt.

She leaves to honor and carry on her legacy her children, Greg Moore and Janice Holt; grandchildren, Jon, Jack, Sean, and Nicole; and six great-grandchildren.

Kathryn's love, strength, and devotion to her family will remain in their hearts and memories forever.
