Thelma "Jeanne" Bolley
Jeanne Bolley was born on May 22, 1948, in Topeka, Kansas. She was the youngest of three siblings born to her parents, Lloyd and Edna Holson. She met her future husband, Mike, during her high school years when they were both members of an intra-city choir. Jeanne graduated from Prairie Bible Institute in 1970 and she and Mike were married the following October. Before her marriage and for the next eighteen years, she held various secretarial and management jobs.
Jeanne completed a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University in 1991 and was licensed by the State of Kansas as a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist. She practiced in Wichita until moving to Broken Arrow in 2009. Jeanne obtained her license to practice in Oklahoma soon after arriving in the state. She retired from practice in 2016. Jeanne was instrumental in helping her sister-in-law and niece to enter mental health professions.
Jeanne was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease a year before she retired. As her condition changed over the years, she continued to be a positive influence, a dear friend and loving wife. Her family, friends and former clients will all miss her dearly.
She passed away at home under hospice care on January 24, 2024.
