Taul Ladd Curtis age 89 passed away Sunday, May 1, 2005 at Grace Living Center in Jenks, Oklahoma. Mr. Curtis was born April 26, 1916 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to John E. Curtis and Annis Frederick Curtis. On March 24, 1940 he married Marie Robinson and resided in Oilton, Oklahoma moving to Sapulpa in 1961. He was a United States Army Veteran, an electrician by trade and worked for Douglas Aircraft until retirement. Mr. Curtis enjoyed tinkering, reading and family genealogy. Taul Curtis mostly enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Curtis was preceded in death by both parents, John and Annis; 3 brothers; his wife, Marie (April 7, 2001) and his son Vic. He is survived by 4 daughters: Julie Cargill, Trimble, MO; Jeanie Barnhart, Glenpool, OK; Nancy Taylor, Suches, GA; Marci Morrow, Sapulpa, OK; 1 son: Ric Curtis, Sapulpa, OK; his sister, Dorothy Alsip of Victorville, CA. He also is the loving grandfather to 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Vince Curtis, Scott Cargill, Zac Morrow, Jay Morrow, Doug Wyer and Randy Crawford. Honorary Pallbearers are: Cole Barnhart and Casey Taylor.
Funeral Services were held 2:00 Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at the Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Brett Allen, officiating. Burial was immediately following service at the Highland Cemetery in Oilton, OK.
