With deepest sorrow and broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, and friend, Talyn Carter Bain, age 9, who was tragically taken from us.
Talyn was born on December 10, 2015, in Owasso, Oklahoma, to Ross and Amber Bain. In his nine precious years, he touched countless lives with his joy, laughter, and unwavering love for others.
Talyn is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Gene Crossland; his aunt, Aimee Cason; and his grandfather, Ross Bain.
He is survived by his father, Ross Bain; his mother, Amber Bain; his siblings: Kalie Williamson, Braden Bain, Morgan Bain, Emily Hickman, Addyson Bain, Austyn Bain, Lachlyn Bain, and Liberty Wagenblatt; along with a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Talyn was full of life and energy, always silly and playful, with a heart that overflowed with kindness. He loved playing his PlayStation, watching and playing football, and cheering on his favorite teams. A proud season ticket holder for the Tulsa Oilers Football team, Talyn also found great joy as #3 for the Glenpool Warriors, where he pushed his teammates, encouraged them, and celebrated their victories as if they were his own.
At home, he was the best kind of brother-equal parts loving and mischievous-always finding ways to make his siblings laugh, tease them, or simply remind them how much they meant to him. Talyn had a special gift for making everyone feel valued and loved, and his bright spirit uplifted all who knew him.
Most importantly, Talyn's greatest joy was his relationship with Jesus. His faith shone brightly, and he wanted everyone he met to know how deeply he loved his Savior. That love was evident in the way he cared for people, encouraged his teammates, and reminded others of their worth. We take comfort in knowing that Talyn is now in the arms of Jesus, experiencing the fullness of the joy he so often shared here on earth.
Services to honor and celebrate Talyn's life will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Faith Church, with Pastor Jason Cowan officiating. He will be laid to rest at Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
