A fabulous Italian cook, Susan filled her home with the warm aromas of homemade sauces, pastas, and family recipes that brought everyone together. She had a deep love for gardening and flowers, tending her garden with care and sharing its beauty with others. She also cherished the outdoors, finding special peace in fishing and camping. Trout fishing was a particular favorite, and she created countless cherished memories by taking her grandchildren on fishing trips and camping adventures.
Susan was preceded in death by her husband, James Newcomb; daughter, Suzanne Stillian; son, James Newcomb; brothers, Dennis Cook and Scott Robertson; and grandson, Andrew Stillian.
She is survived by her son, Michael Newcomb and daughter-in-law, Tracie Newcomb; her sister, Debbra Robertson; her beloved grandchildren, Tony Newcomb, Steve Stillian, Jimmy Newcomb, Johnny Newcomb, Julie Newcomb, Alexandria Alexandra, and Katie Goode; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews including Lisa Robertson, Jesse Palmer, Matthew Palmer, Ilene Cook, Dennis Cook, Jenner Cook-Sampton, Stefanie Cook, Deana Morgan, and Mike Morgan.
Above all, Susan's greatest joy was her family. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, pouring her love into every moment spent with them-whether in the kitchen, the garden, or by the water.
Her warmth, generosity, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and faith that will continue to bloom in the lives of her family for generations to come.
Rest in peace, dear Susan. You are home with Jim and Jesus.
