Stacy Jo Clare passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the age of 53.
Stacy was born on March 24, 1973, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Daniel Clare and Jody Applegate. She dedicated much of her life to caring for others, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years. Throughout her career, she served residents at Montereau, the Inola Nursing Home, Baptist Village of Owasso, and several other nursing homes and healthcare agencies. She found purpose in helping those in need and was known for her compassionate heart, gentle spirit, and strong work ethic.
She cherished every opportunity to care for and spend time with those she loved. Being a "Nonnie" made her proud the most. Outside of work, she enjoyed horseback riding, playing volleyball, traveling, bingeing a good show, and expressing her thoughts through writing and journaling. Stacy was also an avid dog lover throughout her life. She especially adored her Yorkshire Terriers, and her faithful companion, Ted-most recently Nala, brought her endless comfort and joy.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Jody Applegate; Grandparents Junior and Barbara Applegate; Aunt, Nita Deerinwater; Grandparents James and Florence Clare.
She is survived by her father, Daniel Clare; her daughters, Ashley Djahedian, Amber Ogle and her husband Michael; her son, Joseph Djahedian; her granddaughter Nellie Jo; her brother, Danny Clare and wife Choekey; her sister, LeaAnn Watkins and husband Jerry; her Uncle, Marshall Deerinwater; her cousin Eric Deerinwater; her Nieces, Tyler Burks and Kayla Dinoya; her Nephews, Danny and Bailey Clare, along with many other beloved relatives and dear friends who will cherish her memory.
