Shirley Oxley

Shirley Ann Oxley, 73, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on January 5, 2026. Born in Vernon, Texas, Shirley lived a life filled with love, laughter, resilience, and devotion to her family.

Shirley had a gentle heart and a caring nature that made everyone feel welcome in her presence. She especially treasured time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the joy of her life. She loved tending to her house plants, shopping for her grandchildren, and was quite the basketball star during her younger years. Shirley earned her degree in medical billing and proudly used her skills throughout her career. Over the years, she also worked as a cocktail waitress, electrician, and enjoyed running garage sales-always bringing her warmth and humor to every role.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband, Steve Oxley; her sisters Jo Rackley and Patricia Hilton; her children Julie Biedekapp and Rusty Ogden; her grandchildren Kurtis and Kaylee Emerson; Jade and Jaclyn Giampietro; Tim and Hailey Newman; Blaine Ogden; Devon Ogden; and Katie Emerson; and her great-grandchildren Oliver, Charlie, Presley, Reese, Rowan, Tripp, and Giavanna.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mildred Ruby Smith and Jesse Allen, her brother Jerry Allen, and her sister Norma Lankston.

Shirley will forever be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the deep love she poured into her family. Her legacy lives on in every heart she touched.
