Shirley Jean (Zuhse) Bryant age 78 passed away on Friday, June 4, 2010 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Shirley was born November 26, 1931 in Split Rock, Wisconsin to Andrew Zuhse and Elsie (Neiland) Zuhse. She graduated from Clintonville High School in Clintonville, Wisconsin. She married William Preston Bryant on December 7, 1957 in Clintonville. Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed cross stitching, sewing, knitting, cooking, traveling and staying active in her church. Shirley was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents: Andrew and Elsie Zuhse; her sister and her two brothers.
She is survived by her husband: William Bryant of Mounds, Oklahoma; her two daughters: Susan Hall and her husband, Steve of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Sandy Beggs and her husband, Bruce of Plainfield, Illinois; her grandchildren: Kristina Hall of Cleburne, Texas; Bethany Beggs and Kelley Beggs of Plainfield, Illinois; her great grandchild: Aden Oden of Cleburne, Texas along with numerous family members; church family; friends and acquaintances.
Memorial services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Ascension Lutheran Church, 4803 S. Lewis, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pastor Norman Dake will officiate.
