Shevon Vatne

August 20, 1979 — August 8, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shevon Vante, who left this world far too soon on August 8, 2025, just days before her 46th birthday.

Born in Washington State on August 20, 1979, Shevon was raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where she spent her formative years and attended school. From a young age, Shevon showed a deep love for music-she was often found singing her heart out. Dancing brought her joy, and her passion for movement and melody lit up every room she entered.

Shevon was also known for her talent in the kitchen. Cooking wasn't just a necessity-it was a beloved pastime, a way she showed love, and a gift she shared generously. Whether whipping up a family favorite or experimenting with something new, she brought warmth and care to every meal.

A lover of life's lighter moments, Shevon found happiness in cartoons and movies, especially favorites like Twilight, which she watched with childlike wonder and joy. Her sense of humor and enthusiasm were contagious.

Shevon worked in the hospitality industry, where her role extended far beyond serving beverages-she offered genuine kindness and a bright smile to everyone she met. Her warmth and friendliness left a lasting impression on coworkers and guests alike.

Above all, Shevon's heart belonged to her family. She was intentional in reminding her mother how deeply she loved her children and often spoke of them with pride and affection. Her kids were her world-her heart-and she wanted them to carry that love with them always.

She is survived by her devoted mother, Sharon Fogle; her loving sister, Terri Fowler; her brother, Jeff Fowler; her cherished daughter, Elayna Schroeder; and her beloved son, Kalen McCarn.

Shevon's big heart, radiant spirit, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered forever. Though her time with us was too short, her impact will be felt for a lifetime.

A private family viewing will be held by the family to honor Shevon's life, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely.
