Sherri Lee Joshua

Sherri Lee Joshua was born Saturday, October 11, 1969, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the late Lee Roy Joshua Sr. and Lucille King Joshua. Sherri passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022, at home with her family by her side.

Sherri was an extraordinary individual filled with love and a smile so bright that could light a room. Sherri impacted the lives of many from the warmth of love and would give you the shirt off her back. Sherri enjoyed being around her family and attending community events to visit others. Sherri was an OU fan, enjoyed listening to music and there wasn't a dance move she didn't know, had a smooth left-hand basketball shot, and spent her leisure days beading bracelets, necklaces, and painting. Sherri was an Ambassador of the Down Syndrome Association of Tulsa (DSAT).

Preceded in death by her father Lee Roy Joshua Sr., brother John Beaver Jr., sister Mary Beaver, grandparents Edmond Joshua Sr, and stepmom Sarah Joshua.


Those left to cherish her memory include sister, Betty Harjo of Okmulgee, a brother-in-law, Stanley Harjo of Glenpool, Lloyd Beaver of Okmulgee, a sister-in-law Lawanna Jones, Richard Beaver of Okmulgee, a sister-in-law Betty Beaver, Leslie Powell of Okmulgee, a brother-in-law Rick Powell, Ward Beaver Sr. of Tulsa, Lee Joshua Jr. of Okmulgee, sister-in-law Caroline Cummings, brother Ricky Beaver of Dallas, Texas, a sister-in-law Karen Beaver, brother Michael Beaver of Dallas, Texas. sister Siadienia Joshua of Okmulgee, sister Angie Joshua LeGrand of Okmulgee, longtime family brother Raymond Daniels, numerous nieces and nephews, and one great-great great-nephew Elian Vann.
