Shelby Channing Rose Harrison, 40, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, was called to her eternal resting place on May 30, 2026.
Shelby was born on April 26, 1986, in Amarillo, Texas to Sheridan Rose and Glenda Jones Rose. From an early age she possessed a vibrant spirit, a caring heart and a passion for bringing joy to others.
She graduated from Broken Arrow High School and went on to pursue her love of cooking at OSUIT Culinary School. Following graduation, Shelby built a successful career in the Tulsa restaurant industry, where her hard work, talent, and leadership led her into management positions. She took great pride in her work and the relationships she built along the way.
For Shelby, cooking was her love language. As her family, we were always excited to see what she would bring to events. No matter what she made, you could tell she poured her heart and soul into it. Over the years, Shelby enjoyed other hobbies like foraging for morel mushrooms, kayaking, and at one point she even helped support the monarch habitat by raising and hatching monarchs. Her memory and her passions will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her mother Glenda Rose; her father, Sheridan Rose; her sister Jamie Rose; her half-sister, Madison Rose; her Grandmother, Glennis Innes; her brother-in-law, Matt Presley; her nephew, Elliot; her niece, Emily; her Aunt, Janet Jones; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cecil and Sonna Dunn Jones, Bill Innes and Luther Rose.
A memorial service celebrating Shelby's life will be held on Monday, June 15th, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Reception Room at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service, 5757 S Memorial Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74145.
Though her time on earth was short, Shelby's love, laughter and beautiful spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered forever.
