Scott May of Henryetta, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in Tulsa on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the age of 67.
Scott was born on May 12, 1957, in Plainview, Texas, to his parents, Carol and Carolyn (Sue) May. Throughout his school years, Scott attended thirteen different schools in twelve years, ultimately graduating from Hereford High School-a testament to his adaptability and determination.
It was in Clovis, New Mexico that Scott met the love of his life, Denise Baldwin. The two were married and built a beautiful life together, marked by love, hard work, and shared dreams.
A gifted builder and entrepreneur, Scott was the proud owner of A-May-Zing Builders, Inc. also known as ABI, located in Pueblo, Colorado, where he specialized in pre-engineered metal buildings. From 1998 to 2024, his craftsmanship, business sense, and dedication left a lasting mark on his community and customers throughout the state of Colorado.
Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn (Sue) Halloway and sister Cary May.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his wife, Denise May; his father, Carol May; sons, Dustin Jones and Jarret May; daughter Alissa Rincon and her husband Emilio Rincon; brother Macon May and his wife Barbara May; brother Keith May; and his beloved grandchildren, Kylee and Axel Rincon.
A celebration of Scott's life will be held in the future in his beloved state of Colorado, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory.
