Sandra Denise Schmidt

Sandra Denise Schmidt of Mounds, Oklahoma, passed away on April 16, 2026, leaving behind a life full of love, laughter, and meaningful memories.

Sandra was a devoted wife, a proud mother, a caring sister, and a loyal friend. She is survived by her husband, Robert Schmidt; her son, Nicholas (Nick); her daughter, Natalie, both of the home; her brother, Darryl of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and many friends who will miss her deeply.

Sandra and Robert met at a park in Riverside, Tulsa-one of those simple, everyday moments that turned into something lasting. They were married on May 27th and built a life together centered around family, love, and shared experiences.

She attended Will Rogers High School and later went on to a vo-tech dental assistant program. During that time, she was involved in HOSA, a healthcare competition organization, where she worked hard and achieved something she was very proud of-competing at a national level at Disney World and placing third in the country.

Sandra spent many years working in the food industry, where her friendly personality and strong work ethic made her someone people remembered. Outside of work, she enjoyed the things that brought her peace and happiness-painting by numbers, fishing, shopping, and traveling with her family. She looked forward each year to the Muskogee Chili Cook off.

She loved her dog, Roxie, who was always close by, and she had a soft spot for her favorite places to eat, especially Hideaway Pizza and Monterrey House Tex Mex, where many memories were made with family.

Sandra will be remembered for her kindness, her sense of humor, and the way she cared for the people in her life. She wasn't someone who needed attention-she just showed up, loved her family, and made everyday moments special.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Public Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Monday, April 27, 2026 at Schaudt's Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Service & Cremation Care Centers. A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 PM April 28, 2026 at Oakwood Cemetery in Mounds, Oklahoma.
