Samuel Marshall Morgan, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on October 8, 2026, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 84. He was born on May 10, 1942, in Honolulu, Hawaii, just six months after the historic attack on Pearl Harbor. His life was marked by a journey that took him across the world, a career dedicated to serving others, and a love story that would shape his life forever.

Samuel's early years were filled with unique experiences and adventures. He began his schooling in Japan, played baseball, and later attended high school in Panama City, Florida, where he graduated in 1960. Following graduation, he continued his education at the University of Houston, beginning the next chapter of his life.

It was during this time that Samuel met his soulmate, Frances Proffer, on a blind date. What began as a chance meeting blossomed into a lifelong love, and the two were married in 1962. Together, they built a life and shared a bond that remained an important part of Samuel's story.

Samuel went on to establish a career in the insurance industry, serving his community as an Allstate insurance agent. Through decades of dedicated work, he built lasting professional relationships and helped others navigate life's uncertainties. After many years of service, he retired in 2015, closing a meaningful chapter of his professional life.

Samuel's life was rich with experiences, from his childhood in Hawaii and Japan to his school years in Florida, his time at the University of Houston, and his many years helping others through his work. His story was one of perseverance, meaningful connections, and the lasting impact of the people who shared in his journey.

Samuel was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances Morgan; his daughter, Suzanne Alisa Morgan; his parents, Geraldine Mildren (Pereira) Morgan and Ennys Morgan; his brother, John Morgan; and his sisters, Lynn Morgan and Ardie Ayesworth.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Stephanie Fox; his brother, Jodie Morgan; his sister, Pip Quinn; and his partner, Carol Mangels, along with other family members and loved ones who will cherish his memory.

Though Samuel's life has come to a close, the memories he created, the relationships he treasured, and the story of his remarkable journey will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
