Rose Steinberg, of Glenpool, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026, at the age of 89.

Rose was born on August 2, 1936, to Carroll James Rusher and Georganna Walker Rusher. She was the fourth and youngest of their children. She graduated from Daniel Webster High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with the Class of 1954.

Rose built a dedicated and hardworking career, serving many years as a secretary and later in the sales of aluminum anodes. She was proud of her work with Emco Recycling and International Metal, where she formed lasting connections throughout her career.

Rose had a deep love for travel and adventure, especially when it involved life on the road in her RV. She was an active member of several RV clubs and treasured the friendships and experiences they brought into her life. She and her beloved husband, Dick Steinberg, shared 40 wonderful years of marriage, often spending winters traveling to Texas together. In 2017, Rose made her home in Glenpool, Oklahoma.

Above all, Rose cherished her family and the many memories they created together. She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Wescott Johnson and husband Ricky; and her son, Kelly Wescott and wife Jamie.

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Shawn West, Kevin Troxell, Keri Losh, Cody Wescott, and Cory Wescott; great-grandchildren: McKenzie Krehbiel, Millie Mell, Payton Losh Cornell, Jackson Losh, Waylon Wescott, and Holden Wescott; and great-great-grandchildren: Ryenn Krehbiel, Wyatt Krehbiel, and Krew Mell.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Dick Steinberg; her sister, Nancy Rusher Gaines; and her brothers, Jack Rusher and Jim Rusher.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Schaudt Funeral Service.
