Ronald Reed, 74, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, was called to his eternal resting place on March 18, 2026, in Bixby, Oklahoma. He was born on September 19, 1951, in Bristow, Oklahoma, to John and Violet Reed.
Ronald was a man of quiet strength and deep devotion to those he loved. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, carrying that sense of duty and commitment throughout his life. Following his service, he dedicated 15 years of hard work to Groendyke Transportation where he found purpose in his work and took pride in providing for his family.
At home, Ronald found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was an avid fan of OU Sooner football and could often be found cheering on his team. He also enjoyed working on cars, a pastime that reflected his patience, skill, and determination. Ronald was known for being a simple man-loving and caring, yet strong-willed, stern at times, and steadfast in his beliefs. Above all, he was a hardworking man who deeply valued his family.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Janice Reed; his children, John Terhune, Clint Reed, Lacey and Tracy Reed; his grandson, Bradley Reed; his sister, Phyllis Abraham; and his brothers, Randy Campbell and Darrell Reed.
