Roger Leighton Wilson age 65, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, January 22, 2006 at the St. John Medical Center in Sapulpa, OK.
Mr. Wilson was born August 7, 1940 in Nashua, New Hampshire to Dorothy Wilson. He graduated from Milford High School in 1958 in Milford, New Hampshire. He married his high school sweetheart, Judith Burnap at the First Baptist Church in Milford, New Hampshire on June 10, 1961.
Mr. Wilson resided in Glenpool, Oklahoma for the past 10 years coming from California. He was retired from the United States Postal Service after twenty eight years, a lifetime member of the Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship, and a member of the Glenpool Christian Church were he was an elder.
Mr. Wilson enjoyed hunting, reading, fishing, watching old movies and spending time with his family and friends.
Roger was preceded in death by his mother; Dorothy Wilson and brother; Warren Kellerberg Jr.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Judith of Glenpool, OK; step-father Warren Kellerburg of Florida; brother: Robert Kellerburg of Florida; daughter: Betty Lawson and her husband, Doug of Broken Arrow, OK; sons: Shawn Wilson of Glenpool, OK; Scott Wilson and his wife, Donna of Cleveland, OK; sister-in-law: Virginia Burnap of Glenpool, OK; aunt: Doris Burnap of Glenpool, OK; Cousin: Sandra E. Stevens of West Virginia, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. January 25, 2006 at the Glenpool Christian Church with the Rev. Gary Volz officiating.
Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
