Robert Turner

Robert "Bob" Wayne "Bobby" Turner Jr., beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025 at the age of 66.

Bobby was born on April 17, 1959, and spent his life bringing warmth, laughter, and love to everyone who knew him. He worked for Life Steps for many years, where he was proud to be part of such a caring and dedicated organization.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Turner; his in-laws, Richard and Marilyn McCammon; and his brother-in-law, Frank Lane.

He is survived by his loving husband, Mark Turner. Bobby and Mark were married on November 29, 2014, but shared their lives together since 1996 - a true testament to enduring love and partnership.

Bobby is also survived by his father, Robert Turner, and wife Lesley; his sister Cheryl Lane; sister Julie McNew and husband Gary; sisters-in-law Kris Adams and husband Matt, and Kathy Pau; nephews John (Lacy) and Frank (Ashly) Lane; nieces Samantha Geiger and Callie McNew; and great-nieces and nephews Lexi (Ethan), Lily, Landon, Emma, Logan, Maxx, Charley, Jacob, Sophia, and Rinoa - all of whom brought him immense joy. His beloved corgi, Miss Mia, was his loyal companion and constant source of happiness.

Bobby had a passion for gardening, cooking, and baking, and his family will deeply miss his delicious meals and treats. He loved to play cards, visit zoos, and take walks with his little sister, Julie. He cherished vacations with his family and shared countless wonderful memories with Mark, Julie, Gary, and Cheryl - attending plays, concerts, classes, and the fair together. This year, he even experienced the live birth of twin goats at the Tulsa State Fair, an unforgettable moment for someone who appreciated life's simple joys.

Bobby had a zest for life and a boundless curiosity to learn. He absorbed everything around him, finding beauty and meaning in each day. Even on his hardest days, he never complained. He was full of life, love, and laughter - and found joy in watching cooking shows, trying new recipes, and sharing them with others.

His warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate to know him. Above all, his family will miss Bobby - the heart of every gathering, whose love made every moment brighter.
