Robert "Bob" Joel Jenkins, age 87, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
Bob was born on September 4, 1938, in Fullerton, California, to William and Gladys (Raines) Jenkins. When he was about two years old, his family moved to Oklahoma, where his parents purchased a farm in Vinita then later purchased a farm at the Edna corner on highway 16. Bob grew up working alongside his family and later graduated from high school in Tulsa -an accomplishment he remained proud of throughout his life.
He met the love of his life, Patty Resler, and together they built a beautiful life and raised two children, Tom Jenkins and Joi. Bob worked many years as a dedicated and skilled carpenter. Over the years, his craftsmanship could be found in countless places-from projects at the Tulsa Zoo to homes and neighborhoods and commercial sights throughout the Tulsa area.
Until recently, in October, Robert lived at home with his grandson Riley and Riley's family, who lovingly cared for him. The moments shared during that time became cherished memories-precious days they will forever be grateful to have had with him.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Patty; two brothers, Dan Paul Jenkins and William D. Jenkins, Jr.; his son, Tom Jenkins; and his precious great-granddaughter, Sadie Joi Olden.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Joi Keizor and husband Jerry; granddaughter Bobbie Olden and husband Phillip; grandson Riley Keizor and wife Chelsea; and great-grandson Walter Thomas.
Bob lived his life centered around family. He never missed his grandson's baseball games or his granddaughter's livestock shows, always showing support to those he loved. His presence, encouragement, and steady love were constants in the lives of those privileged to know him.
