Robert Estrada of Bixby, Oklahoma, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, he was 71. He was born on May 25, 1952, in Floresville, Texas to Rogelio Estrada and Lucy Longoria. He leaves behind a legacy of love, support, and dedication that touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.


Born with a natural gift for connecting with people and a passion for sales, Robert embarked on a career that spanned decades, where he could truly sell anything to anyone. His charisma and warm personality meant that he never met a stranger, making friends wherever he went. Whether it was being an Army Recruiter, insurance sales, selling cars, or just a friendly conversation, Robert's dependability and unwavering commitment to those he served left an indelible mark.


While Robert's professional accomplishments were notable, it was in his role as a father and grandfather that he truly shined. He had an unshakable bond with his granddaughters and took great joy in supporting their cheerleading activities. His enthusiasm for their pursuits was infectious, and he cheered them on with the same passion he reserved for his favorite sports teams, the Bixby Spartans and the Houston Astros.


As a proud uncle, Robert extended his love and guidance to his nieces and nephews, becoming a cherished father figure in their lives. His nurturing presence and wisdom were a source of strength and comfort to them, and he will forever be remembered for the positive impact he had on their journeys.


Robert's life also included a distinguished military career that spanned nearly 20 years, culminating in his retirement in 1991. As a member of the Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Corps, he served his country with honor and dedication, leaving behind a legacy of service and commitment to justice that will be remembered for generations to come.


Above all, Robert Estrada was a great man and a father figure to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, generosity, and unbreakable spirit were a testament to his character. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.


He is survived by his sons: Andy and his wife Jennifer, Jacob and his wife Carolina and his granddaughters Alexis and Kayla Estrada of Bixby, OK, his siblings: George Estrada, Lucy Hernandez, Sylvia Pairett along with a host of nieces, nephews other family members and friends.


A public viewing and visitation will be held at Schaudt's Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Service & Cremation Care Centers on Thursday, September 14th from 6:00 pm - 8:00pm


Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Friday, September 15th at Schaudt's Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Service & Cremation Care Centers providing an opportunity for loved ones to pay their respects and celebrate Robert's life.
