In Loving Memory of Robert Amos Allen

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Amos Allen, who passed from this earth to his heavenly home on November 16, 2023, at the age of 84. Born on January 31, 1939, to Green and Lola (Waddle) Allen in Skiatook, OK, Bob was a beloved father, grandfather and friend to many.

Bob led a fulfilling life, defined by his devotion to his loved ones, hard work, and a kind heart that touched the lives of many. With a strong determination and a resilient spirit, he met life's challenges head on, leaving behind an admirable legacy.

Bob graduated from Wild Horse High School in 1957, and went on to carve a successful career in the grocery industry, as a warehouse supervisor for Safeway for 35 years. Outside of work, Bob was a true cowboy in every sense of the word. Affectionately dubbed, "The Marlboro Man", he raised cattle and loved horses. He attended the Cavalcade in Pawhuska, OK every year for many years. He enjoyed team roping and trail riding.

He leaves behind his best friend and long-time companion, Edith Agnew, in addition to his beloved children; son, Bryan Allen and wife Jeannie, daughter, Shannon Matthewson and her husband David, and daughter-in-law Laura; grandchildren Justin Allen (Brittni), Jessica Mann (Joe), Derek Allen (Kelsey), Brittani Allen (Lilly), Blake Provin (Jewelia) and Lauren Provin. He also leaves behind nine great grandkids and one on the way. Bob's spirit will forever live on through the cherished memories shared by his family.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and son, Brett Allen.

Though Bob's departure leaves a void in our hearts, let us find solace in the memories we shared, the lessons he imparted, and the love he gave. May we remember him as the epitome of hard work, integrity, and compassion.

Following the service, Bob's remains will be entrusted to the care of Schaudt Funeral Service for cremation, a quiet reflection of his wishes and a final journey towards eternal peace.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Porta Caeli House (link below).
