Patricia Ann Reed

November 15, 1943 — May 18, 2026

Patricia Ann Reed, or "Pat" as known by family and friends, 82, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of the family she cherished so deeply. Born on November 15, 1943, in Pampa, Texas, Pat lived a beautiful life filled with devotion, creativity, adventure, and unconditional love for those around her.

To know Pat was to know love in its purest form. She was the very best mom, always nurturing, caring, and putting the needs of others before her own. Her family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them. Whether she was staying up all night sewing gowns for her daughters' activities, making their clothes by hand, or simply offering comfort and encouragement, Pat gave endlessly of herself.

She was incredibly talented and creative, with gifts that touched every corner of her life. Pat loved crafting, scrapbooking, cross-stitching, quilting, and painting. She beautifully painted her husband's woodworking projects, and her artwork reflected the warmth and beauty she carried within herself. She loved working alongside of Dean in the yard and always seemed happiest when planting something new and watching it bloom.

Pat also had a wonderful adventurous spirit, especially in her later years. She loved camping, riding four-wheelers, and traveling to the places she and Dean loved most, including Colorado, Little Sahara, and Moab, Utah. There was never a dull moment when Pat was around. She embraced life fully and found joy in even the simplest moments. She always had a book in her hands, songs in her heart, and nursery rhymes and Bible songs on her lips for the kids and grandkids when they were young.

More than anything, Pat adored her grandchildren. "Nana" was one of her greatest titles in life. She and "Papa" would drive across the country just to spend time with their grandkids. They attended field trips, served as homeroom grandparents, went to movies and splash pads, and made every ordinary day feel magical. Their love and presence created memories that their grandchildren will carry with them forever.

Pat and Dean were high school sweethearts who found their way back to one another and married in 1967. From that day forward, they were rarely apart, building a lifetime of love, laughter, family, and friendships together.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley T. Beck and Beatrice (Pruitt) Beck; her beloved husband, Walter "Dean" Reed; her son, Jerry Dean Reed; and her siblings, Harold Beck, Stan Beck, Jr., and Debbie McDonald.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Tracy Bowzer and Kristy McFarland and husband Tom; her treasured grandchildren, Tori Bowzer, Teagan Bowzer, Madison Uher and husband Scott, and Kayla McFarland; her precious great-grandson, Brady Uher; and her sister, Bobbie Wimsett, along with many other loving relatives and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Pat was truly a precious soul - kind, selfless, talented, joyful, and deeply loved. Her absence leaves an immeasurable void, but the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in all who knew her. She will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
