Paskel Newton Wadley age 74 passed from this life on March 23 2006 at Glenpool Health Care Center, Glenpool, Oklahoma.
Mr. Wadley was born on April 18, 1931 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Eugene and Ocie Mae Wadley. He grew up in Sapulpa, Oklahoma; graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1949 and worked for Harmony-Woodruff, Inc. in Sapulpa as a printer before he enlisted in the United States Army on September 1, 1950. He received the following medals: Army Occ Medal (Japan), UN Svc Medal, Korean Svc Medal with Bronze Star Combat Inf. Badge. Before retirement Paskel worked as a printer/pressman for the Tulsa World newspaper.
On August 25, 1975 he married Nancy Robinson in Tulsa, Oklahoma and resided in Grove, Oklahoma until he moved to Glenpool in 2001. Mr. Wadley enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish.
Mr. Wadley was preceded in death by both parents, a brother, a sister, a step-son, and his wife, Nancy Grubb Wadley (2001).
He is survived by: his sister: Donna Morris and her husband Bill, Sapulpa, Oklahoma; daughters: Cindy Redding of McAlester, Oklahoma, Marianna Webb of Texas; son: Tony Wadley of Grove, Oklahoma; step-sons: Keith Robinson and his wife, Kim, Glenpool, Oklahoma, Mark Robinson and his wife, Tonya of New Port Richey, Florida and Greg Robinson of Topeka, Kansas; step-daughter Lori Jones and her husband Jeff of Shelbyville, Tennessee; sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 28th at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel with final disposition at Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Reverend Lynn Simpson of Yale Avenue Presbyterian Church of Tulsa will officiate.
Pallbearers are: Dennis Czeschin, Kyle Czeschin, Keith Robinson, Jeff Jones, Alex Jones and Greg Robinson.
