Panglianthlenga Chhakchhuak was called home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2026. He was born on February 15, 1965, in Darkhai, Myanmar, to his beloved parents, Chalkapa Chhakchhuak and Darrothluaii.
A devoted follower of Christ, Panglianthlenga faithfully served the Lord for nearly 40 years as a pastor and evangelist. His life was dedicated to sharing the Gospel, shepherding others in their faith, and encouraging those around him to grow closer to God. Through his ministry, he touched countless lives with his passion for the Word of God and his deep commitment to service.
Panglianthlenga was also a man who valued learning and teaching. He pursued his education with dedication, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, a Master of Arts in Religion, a Master of Arts in Political Science, and a PhD in Religion with a focus in Systematic Theology. For four years, he served as a Theology Professor at Spicer Adventist University, where he helped guide and inspire students preparing for lives of ministry and service.
He was a faithful member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and found great joy in preaching the Word of God. Beyond his ministry, Panglianthlenga deeply cherished the time he spent with his beloved wife and children, who were the greatest blessings of his life.
Panglianthlenga is survived by his loving wife, Vanlalruali; and his sons, Judson Chhakchhuak and Andrews Chhakchhuak.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chalkapa Chhakchhuak and Darrothluaii.
Earlier in his life, Panglianthlenga was known for having a strong temper. Yet through the transforming grace of Christ, his life became a testimony of spiritual growth and renewal. Over the years, he continued to grow into Christ's likeness, and toward the end of his life, his family witnessed the beautiful change within him. Christ had shaped him into a gentle, humble, and patient husband and father. His life stands as a powerful reminder of the grace of God and the transforming work of faith.
Though he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and those he faithfully served, they find comfort in the promise of eternal life and the hope of reunion through Jesus Christ. His legacy of faith, service, humility, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
