Pamela Polk

July 7, 1953 — September 28, 2025

Pamela Jean Polk, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt went home to be with the Lord on September 28, 2025 at the age of 72. "Mimi" was born July 7, 1953 in Okmulgee County to Louetta and Earl Dunham. Pam was a life-long resident of Okmulgee, Oklahoma and attended Calvary Baptist Church.

Pam, lovingly known as "Mimi," is preceded in death by her husband Luther Wayne Polk of 42 years, her youngest son Joshua "Joshy" Aaron Polk, her mother Louetta Dunham Farrill, father Earl Dunham and sister Gloria Kovak.

Pam "Mimi" is survived by her three sons Thomas Longnecker and wife Torrey of Texas, Johnny Qualls and wife Treva of Sperry, Oklahoma and Earl Polk and wife Crystal of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and lifelong best friend Marie Wixon. Pam is also survived by Five grandsons Zach Sewell, Jonah Longnecker, Aaron Longnecker, Jayden Polk and Benjamin Rutledge two granddaughters Natalie Compton and Shyann "ShyShy" Polk. She also has 3 great-grandchildren and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Pam longed to join her son Joshy and husband Wayne. She often shared what a glorious day it would be to be with Jesus, Joshy and Wayne. She loved sitting and sharing stories about her boys and her family-those memories brought her joy and laughter. A true fan of "oldies but goodies," Mimi loved classic movies and was especially fond of watching the Game Show Network. She once attended a live taping of The Price Is Right and had an absolute blast guessing along with the games-something she cherished doing at home, too. Pam "Mimi" had an amazing talent for sewing, upholstery, cooking and baking. She had a long and joyful life and was eagerly waiting to go to her eternal home in Heaven.

Pam took pride in relentlessly providing for her children. She valued doing whatever she had to do to make sure her children had what they needed. She raised four wonderful boys who grew up to be fine men, fathers and husbands.

Her sons are certainly the beautiful legacy she leaves behind-a testament to her love and strength.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Pam "Mimi" will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church with a graveside service to follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery.
