Normal Ray Warren passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the age of 82.
Ray was born on March 30, 1944, in Oneta, Oklahoma. One of nine children, Ray grew up surrounded by a large family and went on to graduate from Broken Arrow High School. During his high school years, he played football, beginning a lifelong love of sports.
Ray was a hardworking businessman and entrepreneur throughout his life. For more than 20 years, he owned and operated Warren Manufacturing in Morris, Oklahoma. After operating his own business, Ray went to work with his son, Mike. When Mike opened KenKay Machine. He spent the next 11 years working alongside him, an opportunity that allowed father and son to share not only their knowledge and experience, but many years together.
Outside of work, Ray loved being outdoors and had a true green thumb. He enjoyed tending to his yard and plants and spending time outside whenever he had the opportunity. He also loved to keep everyone up to date on the daily weather forecasts. His family jokes that he truly should have been a meteorologist. Ray was also an avid sports fan. If the television was on, there was a good chance a game was playing. Football and basketball were his favorites, and he especially enjoyed following the Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma City Thunder.
Ray found love and companionship with Naomi Stroud. They were married on April 20, 2019, at First United Methodist Church in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and shared seven and a half wonderful years of marriage together.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Oran and Bessie, his siblings, Donald, Glen, Merle, Beatrice, Marie, Linda, and Susie and his first two wives, Tina Warren and Linda Warren.
Above all, Ray treasured his family. He leaves many loving memories with his wife, Naomi Warren; his children, son Mike Warren, Wife Carm. Son Keith Warren. Son Bull Snider, Wife Becky. Daughter Lynn Smith, Husband Don. His sister, Dorothy. 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; along with many other loving relatives and a host of friends.
A funeral service celebrating Ray's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at First United Methodist Church of Morris, 601 S. Hughes Avenue, Morris, Oklahoma, with his grandson, Kendall Warren, officiating.
