Norma Stunkard

Norma Jeanne Montgomery Stunkard was born on November 17, 1929 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 15, 2024.

Jeanne attended The University of Tulsa where she was a proud member of Phi Mu Sorority and she continued to support them throughout her life. While she was attending TU she met and married the love of her life, Ted Stunkard. Together they raised three daughters. Jeanne had a successful 40-year career as a highly skilled court reporter scopist. She was an avid reader, lifelong animal lover and had a natural talent for decorating her home. She was smart and beautiful.......always the prettiest girl in the room. She has been deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Jeanne is survived by her three daughters; Monica Jeanne Welch, Shelley Marie Latta and Theda Louise Brinckerhoff in addition to seven grandchildren; Robert Welch, Eric Welch, John Latta, Paul Latta, Megan Brinckerhoff, Marnie Brinckerhoff and Mackenzie Brinckerhoff and two great-grandchildren; Teddy and Lizzy.

Jeanne will be cremated per her wishes and buried beside her husband in the family plot with her parents, Ora Ada Hatley Montgomery Osborn and Harry E. Montgomery.
