Nora Dalphene Abel

Nora Dalphene Abel Nora Dalphene Abel, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Friday, May 13, 2011 at the age of 92. She was born Friday, May 2, 1919 to Alexander L. and Pearl (Pannell) Stange in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. On September 6, 1935, she married James L. Abel in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Abel in 2003; parents, Alexander and Pearl Stange; brother, Gene Stange and sister, Ida Beth Wells. Survivors include one daughter, Anita Howe and husband, Claude of the home; brother, Raymond L. Stange; sister, Alene Parker; sister-in-law, Nina Stange; two grandsons, Robert and Tony Howe; four great grandchildren, Joshua, Daniel, Noel and Cory Howe; four great great grandchildren, Candice Bardonnex and Harlee Bardonnex, Presley Dawn Howe and Cory Re Howe, Jr. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
