Nikole Mae Mauldin passed away with her loving family by her side on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the age of 48.
Nikole was born on July 16, 1978, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She grew up in Tulsa and attended Bishop Kelley High School. Throughout her life, Nikole was known for her caring and generous nature, her memorable sense of humor, and her ability to bring laughter to the people around her. She was also a self-proclaimed clean freak who liked everything to have its place.
Nikole met her husband through mutual friends. Their relationship quickly grew, and after six months of dating, they became engaged. The couple married on October 25, 2008, at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Tulsa.
Family was at the center of Nikole's life. She especially treasured being a grandmother and the time she spent surrounded by those she loved. She had a playful and creative side and enjoyed making balloon animals, often bringing smiles and laughter to family gatherings.
Nikole also showed her love for others through food. Her family will remember some of her favorites, including homemade chicken and dumplings, donuts, and her strawberry Jell-O cake. These familiar dishes became part of the memories created around her kitchen and family table.
Traveling was another joy in Nikole's life. One of her favorite destinations was Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge near Eureka Springs, Arkansas, a place she enjoyed visiting and returning to over the years.
Nikole knew how to enjoy the simple things in life and had plenty of favorites that reflected her personality. She loved settling in to watch The Golden Girls, and she rarely passed up an episode of The First 48 or Dateline. Whether she was laughing along with a familiar sitcom or trying to figure out the details of a true-crime story, these shows were part of the downtime she enjoyed.
She also loved painting her nails and taking the time to make them look just right. It was one of the little things she enjoyed doing for herself and another reflection of the attention to detail that was so much a part of who she was.
Halloween was Nikole's favorite holiday, and she looked forward to it each year. She enjoyed the decorations, costumes, and fun that came with the season. Halloween gave her another opportunity to be creative, have a good time, and share some laughs with the people she loved.
These everyday favorites-the television shows she watched, freshly painted nails, and her love for Halloween-are among the small but meaningful things her family and friends will remember when they think of Nikole.
She is survived by her loving husband, Brian Mauldin, two daughters: Olivia Mosley and Erica Dickenson; her grandchildren: Brooklyn, Gracie, Sophia, Emily and one on the way, Camden.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her mother; Therese and one son Jackson.
Arrangements are entrusted to Schaudt Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Service & Cremation Care Centers, 1329 East 151st Street, Glenpool, OK 74033. Family and friends may leave kind words of comfort, special memories and condolences to the family online at www.schaudtfuneralservice.com
