Milton Denny Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the age of 81. Milton was born on October 4, 1943, in Pinon, Arizona, to Philippi D. Begay.
Milton's journey took him from his homeland of the Navajo Reservation in Arizona to Okmulgee, Oklahoma, where he attended the Okmulgee Institute of Technology (Okmulgee Tech) and enrolled in the art program. It was there that he met the love of his life, Loretta Leitka. The couple married and shared 50 years of love and devotion before Loretta's passing in 2022. Together, they created a strong family bond and a lasting legacy that will endure for generations.
Milton dedicated much of his career to TD Williamson, where he worked as a Senior Graphic Designer in the advertising department, a role he excelled in for many years. He retired when his grandchildren were born to focus on the next chapter of his life, cherishing his family above all else. Milton was an avid rodeo fan but he also had a love of Oklahoma State Football and his grandchildren/great grandchildren's athletic activities, attending countless games throughout the years.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Loretta Denny; mother, Philippi Begay; daughters, Margie Denny-Wallen and Miltona (Christine) Denny; son, Morgan Denny; grandson, Morgan Denny Jr.; and great-granddaughter, Maliyah.
Milton is survived by his sons, Brian Kanuho, Matthew Denny, and Milton Denny Jr. and wife Rachel Denny; 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.
