Marvin Wayne Bias

Marvin Wayne Bias, 68, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2004 at his residence in Glenpool, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family members.
Mr. Bias was born in Lawton, Oklahoma July 8, 1936 to Melbourn Bias and Mabel Helen Byrd. He graduated from Jay High School and then entered the United States Air Force where he spent the next 20 years. He resided in Bristow, Oklahoma for twenty-four years before moving to Glenpool last year. Mr. Bias most recently worked at his son's western store in Bristow and he enjoyed gambling, fishing, collecting stamps and coins.
Mr. Bias was preceded in death by both parents and his brother, Marion Lewis Bias. He is survived by his stepson: Dean Elder, Yuba City, California; daughters: Tasha Lynn Haigh and her husband, John, of Paradise, California; Kandas Marie Harris, Glenpool, OK, Angie Jones and her husband, Gary, of Jenks, OK and Tammy Brooks of Broken Arrow, OK; brother: Melbourn Bias and his wife, Alice, of Bristow, OK and sister: Elene Presonette and her husband, Carl, of Grandin, MO. Marvin Bias has nine grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma with full military honors.
