Mark Bush was born on October 1, 1951 in Marlette, Michigan to his parents, Lloyd and Naomi (Negus) Bush. Mark left this earth a day too soon on May 20, 2022 surrounded by comforting family.
In 1983 Mark moved from his home state, Michigan, to Glenpool, Oklahoma. He was always a dedicated, hard-working man and never afraid to explored different career options. He worked for Fourth National Bank and Pepsi throughout the late 80's and mid 90's, during this time he began working as the fleet mechanic for the city of Glenpool, where he cared for first responder's vehicles including police and fire. He always had a love for law enforcement so he decided to pursue a career as a police officer. Mark worked hard to earn his Glenpool police officer badge and he proudly served until his retirement in 2007. Still searching for his calling in 1998 he started his own business called Midtown RV Services.
Mark established himself as a trustworthy business man, a reliable professional, and a steady friend. But, when he was not working, you would probably find him at a local casino or a gun range, depending on the day. He also enjoyed the thrill of demolition derbies and drag racing, forever chasing his passion for cars. Mark always kept an eye out for ways to help people and honest ways to make a living.
Mark is preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Naomi Bush.
Mark leaves behind many cherished memories with his family including his son Christopher Bush and wife Roxanne; daughter Tammy Wimmer; sister Luella and husband Gary Sexton; brother Lyndon Bush; granddaughters Samantha and Ryan Bush; grandson Tyler Wimmer and great-granddaughter Gabriella Wimmer, along with many other loving relatives and friends.
