Marjorie Michelle Manes, a cherished resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, departed from this world on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the age of 59. Michelle, as she was affectionately known, was born on January 15, 1965, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to her loving parents, Anthony and Estelle Manes.
Growing up in the Edison area of Tulsa, Michelle attended Edison High School, where she graduated with fond memories of her time in the Junior Opera Guild. Despite facing the loss of her father at a young age, Michelle found solace in the traditions shared with her extended family, particularly their cherished gatherings during the 4th of July around Flint Creek near Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
Michelle's close bond with her brother Ron was a source of strength and joy throughout her life. As a devoted mother, she was actively involved in the PTA and cherished every moment spent with her two daughters. Michelle had a passion for antiquing and interior design, amassing a vast collection of treasures over the years. Her social nature endeared her to many, always eager for engaging conversations and meaningful connections.
In May of 2004, Michelle met her significant other, Dan Cantrell, through their shared interest in real estate. Together, they built a life filled with cherished memories and mutual pursuits.
Michelle is survived by her beloved partner, Dan Cantrell, her two daughters, Ashly Majors and Taylor Funston, along with their respective spouses, Chris and Cameron, and her ten adoring grandchildren.
