Marilyn Zarski

July 10, 1937 — July 13, 2024

Marilyn Sue (Raus) Zarski passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 13, 2024. She was born in Tulsa on July 10, 1937. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Elma Raus. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Ronald Zarski, her sons Ron Jr and Phillip, her daughter Karen Tennant, and her brother Robert Raus. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1955 and worked as a secretary until retiring in 1975. She was an anti-nuclear activist and a leader in the Stop-Black-Fox movement. She and her husband traveled extensively world-wide, and lived in Washington DC, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

She had a strong personality and had a positive influence on her family and others. She was the matriarch of the family and was the one others turned to when help was needed. Her grand-children remained in communication with her until her final moments. Her family will miss having her to turn to, when they needed someone to talk with. It is hard to think about how much she will be missed.

Service arrangements are being planned at Schaudt's Funeral Service & Cremation Care, Tulsa.
