Lucille Catherine Gregory

July 26, 1938 — June 10, 2026

Lucille Catherine (Logan) Gregory, lovingly known as "Lucy," of Afton, Oklahoma, passed away on June 10, 2026, at the age of 87.

Born in San Pierre, Indiana on July 26, 1938, to Mary Ruby (Sands) and William Wilson Logan, Lucy lived a life grounded in faith, love, and service to others. A devoted member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Lucy's faith was the guiding force throughout her life. She was also an active member of the Ketchum Senior Citizens' Center, where she formed many cherished friendships.

Lucy found joy in life's simple pleasures, and one rarely saw her without a smile on her face. She enjoyed serving as one of Vinita's friendly Walmart Associates for several years before retiring and living on Grand Lake with her Corgi and cat, near her faithful son and daughter-in-law. Possessing a deep love for animals, a creative spirit expressed through her crafts, and a passion for music that brought warmth to those around her, Lucy will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and faith.

She is survived by her three children: Heidi Knott and her husband Alan; Gene Gregory and his wife Glenda; and Samantha Gregory; her brother, Tom Logan and his wife Sandy; her grandsons, Logan Kirk and Jordan Knott; her granddaughters, Melissa Morris (and husband Brian) and Angela Rhodes (and husband Tim); great-grandchildren Christina Collins (and husband Rhys), Cheyenne Walden, Kevin Walden, and Kaitlyn Walden; and great-great grandchildren Liam Walden and Jessica Collins - along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Ruby Logan, and her beloved husband of fifteen years, Kenneth Ray Gregory, Lucy will be remembered fondly, for her life was a testament to resilience, faith and love.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 6, 2026 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Vinita, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Lucy's church may be considered and checks may be mailed to: Messiah Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 392, 460 N. Wilson St., Vinita, OK 74301.
