Lowell Dean Finney

Lowell Dean Finney, 88,  was born in Wetumka, Oklahoma on July 15 1934, to James Edward Finney and Lily Mae Crabtree Finney. He passed peacefully in his home surrounded by loving family, July 14, 2023 just as he had wanted.

Lowell grew up and attended school in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. He worked for over 50 years at SunOil and Sheffield Steel. Any free time he had, Lowell enjoyed playing golf with his best friends. If he wasn't at the golf course he was watching his great grandchildren play sports.

Lowell is survived by the mother of his children and former wife, Faye Lee Posey, grandchildren, Ryan Presnell and his wife, Amanda Presnell, Justin Presnell, Jason Finney, great-grandchildren, Kimi Presnell and Kiptyn Presnell, former spouse, Maria Dawson and her children, Bobby Dawson and Jini Workman as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his children, Jeffrey "Jeff" Dean Finney, and Brett Layne Finney; siblings, Rev. Lonnie Houston Finney, Ray Allen Finney, Lance Carl Finney, and Rev. Walsa Mae Fox.
