Lois Virginia Waggoner

Lois Virginia Waggoner, age 88, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2006 at The Gardens Living Center in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Waggoner was born March 21, 1917 in Groveton, Texas to Walter Swanson and Delphia (West) Swanson. Lois moved from Henrietta, Texas to Glenpool approximately 2 years ago to be closer to family members. Lois attended schools in Texas and Oklahoma. During her life time she resided in Purcell and Yukon, Oklahoma.
As a homemaker, Lois Waggoner enjoyed painting, sewing and baking. She was a Red Cross volunteer, a member of a quilting club, Good Sams Club and a member of the Jenks Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Delphia Swanson; her husbands, John David Wright (7/31/67); Paul Raymond Shawer (4/25/85); Paul R. Waggoner (12/10/01); her baby son: Billy Joe Wright; two sisters: Ethel Wanda Kelper, (Del City, Oklahoma); Florence Davis, (Lawton, Oklahoma) and her brother: Ernest Leroy Swanson.
Lois is survived by her brother: Orval Charles Swanson of San Antonio, Texas; daughter: Jeraldine Parker, Glenpool, Oklahoma; grandson: Bryan and his wife, Jacinda Parker of Glenpool, Oklahoma; step-children: David Waggoner, Howard Waggoner, Robert Waggoner, Lawrence Waggoner; great-grandchildren: Malkam and Bryce Parker of Glenpool.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Letitia Cemetery, Lawton, Oklahoma.
