Lisa Kim Suarez, age 69, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026.
Born on January 31, 1957, in Camiri, Bolivia, Lisa was the beloved daughter of Oscar and Betty Suarez. She spent a lot of her younger years in South America, where she attended Catholic school and developed a strong foundation in her Catholic faith that remained an important part of her life.
Lisa was preceded in death by her loving parents, Oscar and Betty Suarez, and her brother, Tony Suarez.
She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her daughter, Katia Suarez; her beloved grandson, Christopher Synar; and her cherished granddaughter, Blaise Synar. She is also survived by her sisters, Marissa Suarez, Jamee Suarez, Robin Suarez, andMelissa Cremin; her brother, Carlos Suarez; her aunt, Judith Campbell; and many dear cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Lisa dedicated nearly 30 years of her career to Blue Cross/Blue Shield, where she worked as a claim's processor. She was known for her dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic.
Outside of work, Lisa found great joy in expressing her creativity. She was a talented artist who handcrafted collectible teddy bears and hares (Rabbits). Together with her mother, she attended numerous teddy bear conventions, where they proudly displayed, sold, and traded their unique creations. Her artistry brought happiness to collectors and fellow artists alike. They had a little business by the name of "Bears, Bears and Hares" together.
Lisa also had a passion for cooking and enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends with many of her wonderful homemade dishes, especially around holidays. Everyone wanted her Rum Cakes and Boursin! Sharing meals was one of the many ways she expressed her love and generosity.
Above all, Lisa will be remembered for her creative spirit, her devotion to her family, and the kindness she shared with those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
May she rest in eternal peace.
