Lisa Kay Hays

February 21, 1959 — February 5, 2026

Lisa Kay Hays, 66, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Lisa was born on February 21, 1959, in Dallas, Texas, to Earl and Shirley (Brewer) Young. She grew up in Dallas and later moved to Oklahoma in 2013, where she continued building a life rooted in faith, service, and family.

A founding member of the Liberty Fire Department Lady Auxiliary, Lisa had a servant's heart and was always willing to step up when someone needed help. She was known for her generosity and kindness-often described as someone who would give the shirt off her back. Her faith guided every part of her life. Lisa loved God deeply and put Him before all else. She often spoke of her anticipation of the rapture and spent time daily reading her Bible.

Lisa worked for Texas Instruments and Varo , but her greatest pride and joy was being a mother. Of all her accomplishments, nothing meant more to her than her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished "Memaw" to her grandchildren.

In her quieter moments, Lisa found joy in caring for her chickens, canning, watching Asian drama love stories, and sitting on her back porch listening to the birds. She also dearly loved her dogs, who were constant companions.

Lisa will be remembered as a God-fearing, loving mother, grandmother, and wife whose life reflected her faith and her deep love for family.

She is survived by her loving husband Daryl of 37 years, children, Michael, April, Brannon, Amber, and Shane; her grandchildren, Ayden and Brayden, Bryleigh, Zoe, and Brock; her siblings, Earl "Bubba" Young, Alice Kissamitakis, and Anita Moore; and her mother-in-law, Carol Sue Hays.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Sharon Hicks and Tyler Young.

Lisa's legacy of faith, love, and selfless giving will live on in all who knew her.
