Lee Orian See

Lee Orian See, age 92, passed away peacefully in his home in Jenks, OK. on September 2, 2026.

Lee was born on October 11, 1933, in Enid, Oklahoma, to William and Ruth See. Throughout his 92 years, Lee lived a life filled with faith, family, friendship, adventure, and a genuine love for the people around him.

Lee was a laid-back, lovable, and incredibly likable man. He never seemed to know an enemy and had a way of making everyone feel welcome. He was a true "jack of all trades" and enjoyed keeping busy with many different interests throughout his life. He loved beekeeping, logging, butchering, and, most of all, spending time doing the things he enjoyed with the people he loved.

Lee had a competitive spirit and a love for sports that continued well into his later years. At the age of 70, he proudly won the Arkansas Seniors Open State Championship in tennis, an accomplishment that reflected both his determination and his love of the game. In more recent years, Lee found great joy in playing pickleball, a sport he enjoyed for approximately seven years. His family remembers how much he loved being on the court, having fun, and spending time with friends.

Above all, Lee loved the Lord, and his faith was a cornerstone of his life. Church was deeply important to him, and he was known as a kind, loving, and good Christian man. When a praise and worship song touched his heart, his family could hear him singing above everyone else, his arm held high as he worshiped the Lord with all his heart.

Life eventually brought Lee and Joyce together after their spouses had passed. Joyce happened to be in Branson, Missouri, where they met and their beautiful love story began. Lee and Joyce were married for 14 years. Together, they shared years of laughter, faith, travel, and countless memories. They spent approximately seven years traveling together, visiting Jerusalem, Greece, Canada, and destinations throughout the United States. They even had the unforgettable experience of becoming contestants on The Price Is Right. Through every adventure, Lee and Joyce treasured the life they built together.

Another one of Lee's greatest joys was his family and the many friends who became like family. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love that will continue through the generations.

Lee is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce See; children: Melvin See and wife Gail; Nancy Leavins; Dale See and wife Nancy; stepchildren: Kristal and husband Brad Williams; Rebecca Webb; Pam and husband Donald Tucker; Rick Mays and wife Brandy; Robert Mays and wife Sara. He is also survived by a loving family that includes 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren with three more on the way, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth See; his sister, Veda Murdy; two former wives; and two grandchildren.

Lee will be remembered for his easygoing nature, his generous heart, his love for the Lord, his competitive spirit, his many talents, and the joy he brought to those fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind more than memories-he leaves behind a family and community forever changed by his kindness, laughter, friendship, and love.

Though he will be deeply missed, those who loved Lee can find comfort knowing that he is now in the presence of the Lord he loved so dearly. His voice may no longer be heard singing above the congregation, but the songs of his faith and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Public viewing will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Schaudt's Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Service.

Services celebrating Lee's life will be held Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Newspring Church, with Greg Ables officiating.
