Laura Gatchell Blakewell

Laura Kay Gatchell Blakewell, granddaughter of John Bartlett Gatchell and Doris Gaffney Gatchell, Dr. Lloyd Foster and Freda Chloe Foster, daughter of Dr. Frank Gaffney Gatchell and Carol Eve Foster Gatchell died on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Laura graduated from Heritage Hall in Oklahoma City and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from University of Oklahoma. She was employed as a ballerina for many years.

Laura was very active with the Porche Club of Oklahoma City. She loved sailing, and she was very athletic. Laura is survived by her sister, Catherine Gatchell Cooper and her niece, Sarah Rasmussen.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. A wake is scheduled for 5:00 PM Friday, June 17 at the Cooper residence in Tulsa.
